2005 All Round Best Shooter Competition is complete

The Annual All Round Best Shooter (ARBS) competition is comprised of six Championship events that include Archery, Trap Shooting, Target pistol, Light Rifle, Practical Pistol, and 10m Air Pistol. The ARBS scoring takes the individuals best scores fired in at least four of these events and combines them to determine the all round best shooter in the H.S.A.

  • Action Pistol Championship - November 19, 2006 at 1:00PM - Crawford Barricade

  • Light Rifle Championship - January 14, 2007 at 1:00PM - 3 Postion 300 match

More information on these events will be available at the October and November Meetings. Participation in these events has been on the upswing in recent years, and we would certainly like to see that trend continue.

So please come out and give it a try. You will have some fun, learn a thing or two, maybe even achieve great fame by having your name inscribed on a plaque in the clubhouse trophy case.

The 2001 Championship series and All Around Best Shooter events have been completed. Sixteen members participated in one or more of the events. The most popular event of the season was Target Pistol with fourteen members stepping up to the firing line.
